Tile set, Push mechanic, Knockback, & Revamped enemy attacks
Tile Set
We started with the implementation of a tile set. It's very limited at the moment, but the framework is set in place when more of the tile art is complete.
Push Mechanic
One of the major mechanics of our game, pushing enemies, is finally working. The player's push attack will knock an enemy up and backwards, but the amount of knockback is subject to change after further testing. This attack and the environment will be crucial to the player for conserving their arrows as they traverse the level.
Knockback
Touching enemies will now damage the player and knock them back, preventing the player from running through enemies.
Revamped Enemy Attacks
Enemy attacks have been significantly revamped. Now, the enemies will attack after a short delay, and then continue to do so periodically. This gives the player time to avoid the enemy's attack, or push them away. If an enemy's attack hits, it will now knock the player back.
